Co produced with my good friend and textile designer RUBY GARDNER, Sonic Scrims is an immersive interactive fabric installation delves into the vibrant and dynamic music scene of Glasgow while embodying the city's famous slogan, "People Make Glasgow."

The project aims to create an immersive experience where participants engage with Glasgow's musical heritage through tactile interaction and collaborative music-making. This installation is designed to engage participants in a multi-sensory exploration of Glasgow's rich musical heritage, emphasising its diverse genres, iconic venues, and legendary artists.

Partnering up with exhibition curators UNKNOWN ERRORS and their exhibit 'What do people make of Glasgow' on until 19th Sept 2023 @ Six Foot Gallery, Glasgow.

This interactive experience can be played by one or two people. Hold the metal clip of the black cable in one hand, or attach the metal clip to a ring (must have skin contact). Mix sounds by touching a combination of the three fabrics. Play with the notes and duration of a sound by touching different areas of the scrim.
Opening Night
It was amazing to see everyone interact and have fun with out piece! We were overwhelmed by the response and it has spurred us on to create more and enhance our prototypes.

Massive thank you to UNKNOWN ERRORS and Six Foot Gallery for having us!
